Jose Alvarado and Jhoan Duran took care of the final two innings with Duran recording his 31st save. The Phillies scored two quick runs in the first with Alec Bohm singled home Trea Turner, who had walked to reach. Bryson Stott walked with the bases loaded to give the Phillies a 2-0 lead with one out, but the Phillies couldn't score any more runs. They left 13 runners on base in this game, and became the first team in 71 years to walk 13 times in a nine-inning game, but score only three runs. Bryce Harper singled in the seventh and came around to score on a Luis Arraez double to give the Phillies a 3-0 lead.
