Phillies 7, Yankees 6
Spring Training Game 14 - Thursday Afternoon, March 8th in Tampa
Record - 6-8
One Sentence Summary: Danny Ortiz and Pedro Florimon produced two clutch hits in the eighth inning to lead the Phils to a 7-6 win over the Yankees.
What It Means: It's nice to see the Phillies showing some life in these games. In the grand scheme of things, a spring training win doesn't mean much but maybe some of this positive momentum will carry over into the regular season.
What Happened: Ben Lively allowed three runs in his four-inning start. Adam Morgan got the win after pitching two scoreless innings. Tommy Joseph added two more hits, raising his spring average to .474. Ryan Flaherty and Mitch Walding both knocked in a pair of runs.
Featured Card: I've got a bunch of 2018 Topps Heritage cards sitting in front of me ready to be sorted, and here's Joseph's card from the 1969 Topps-inspired set.
Camp Head Count: 60

I'm glad that Tommy is giving the Phillies something to think about before they make any roster moves involving him...
