The Phillies made their first honest to goodness addition to their 2015 roster yesterday, signing right-handed starting pitcher Aaron Harang to a one-year deal. Nothing against the prior acquisitions (see below and the sidebar at left for the non-roster invitees) but Harang is the first guy brought on board who is pretty much guaranteed to open the season as a member of the 25-man roster.
If the season were to start tomorrow, Harang is slotted in the rotation behind Cole Hamels (unless he's in San Diego) and a healthy Cliff Lee. Harang made 33 starts for the Braves last season, earning just one mainstream baseball card in the process in the recently released Bowman Chrome set.
