1994 Topps #388 Len Dykstra & Ken Griffey, Jr. AS

In other, non-perfect game ruining news, Ken Griffey, Jr. announced his retirement from baseball Wednesday afternoon. He ends his 22-year career with 630 career home runs, currently 5th on the all-time list. During his National League tenure with the Reds, I was fortunate enough to see Junior play on several occasions, although I wish I had seen him back in his prime during his first stint with the Mariners. In 39 career games against the Phillies, he hit just .224 with 4 home runs and 25 RBIs. The only team he hit less than 4 home runs against during his career? The Seattle Mariners - 3 home runs in 26 at-bats.
