On May 23, 1991, Tommy Greene became just the 8th pitcher in Phillies history to throw a no-hitter when he accomplished the feat in Montreal against the Expos. Unfortunately, shoulder trouble prematurely ended his career. After outdueling Greg Maddux in NLCS Game 6, Tommy would only pitch in 21 more Major League games, winning just 2 of them.
