Marlins 2, Phillies 1 (10)
Game 29 - Tuesday Night, May 1st in Miami
Record - 16-13, 3rd place, 2 games behind the Mets
One Sentence Summary: The Phillies wasted a strong season debut from Zach Eflin, and the Marlins walked it off with a win in the 10th.
What It Means: Like the game before this, the Phillies will need to win these games against lower division teams if they hope to not be a lower division team themselves.
What Happened: Eflin was pushed into duty when Ben Lively landed on the disabled list. He pitched five perfect innings with his sole blemish being a solo home run allowed to Justin Bour in the sixth. The Marlins plated the winning run in the 10th when Yadiel Rivera singled home Cameron Maybin off reliever Yacksel Rios.
The Phillies scored their only run in the fifth when Rhys Hoskins doubled home Jorge Alfaro.
Featured Card: In 2017 and so far in 2018, Eflin's only available baseball cards are from the team-issued photo card sets.
