Red Sox 6, Phillies 5
Spring Training Game 25 - Monday Afternoon, March 19th in Ft. Myers
Record - 9-15-1
One Sentence Summary: Drew Hutchison impressed with five solid innings and Aaron Altherr drove in four runs in this 6-5 loss to the Red Sox.
What It Means: The Phillies and Red Sox will next meet in late July, then again in mid-August and finally in the 2018 World Series.
What Happened: Hutchison has been mentioned as a possible fifth starter, and this appearance certainly didn't hurt his chances. He allowed a run on three hits while striking out three. Nick Williams was responsible for the non-Altherr run, doubling home Andrew Knapp in the third.
Featured Card: Altherr will start the season as the team's fourth outfielder with Rhys Hoskins, Odubel Herrera and Nick Williams slated to be the three regulars. I wouldn't be surprised however if Altherr eventually sees just as much action as Herrera and Williams.
Camp Head Count: 47

Shall I assume that the results of all the meetings between the two teams will be like this one?
You shall not.
