I went last night for "Emoji Monday" and for $30 got a scoreboard porch ticket (row 1!) that included a $12 food/souvenir credit and a Phillies t-shirt with "emojis" of Howard, Utley, Chooch and the Phanatic. Not a bad deal for $30, and they won too! Tonight they have 2 for $27 tickets for Nola's debut. This is the upside of a losing team.

I do remember that in the late '90s/early '00s, there were a ton of promotions and giveaways designed solely to get people into the ballpark and I of course took advantage of most of them. "This is the upside of a losing team" is the ultimate glass half full comment!
