Astros 6, Phillies 3
Spring Training Game 3 - Thursday Afternoon, March 5th in Kissimmee
Record - 1-1-1
One Sentence Summary: Cliff Lee pitched in his first game since last July 31st as the Phillies fell to the Astros, 6-3.
What It Means: A healthy Lee hopes to join Cole Hamels at the top of the Phillies starting pitching rotation this season. He threw an uneventful scoreless two innings, allowing just two hits.
What Happened: Miguel Alfredo Gonzalez and Phillippe Aumont struggled in this game, allowing a combined four runs on six hits in three innings of work. Aumont allowed back-to-back home runs in the fifth.
Featured Card: We were snowed in today, so there were no trips to Target to see if Topps Heritage was available yet. While we wait to open our first packs of Heritage, here's Lee's card from the still fresh 2015 Topps set.
