2014 Topps #101 |
As we await the inevitable announcement of a Cole Hamels trade to the Red Sox or the Dodgers or the Cubs or a mystery team, let's take a look at five more players who will be joining the Phillies in Clearwater wearing uniform numbers in the 70s.

The "Last Major Baseball Card Appearance" is fairly subjective. In any instance where someone had multiple cards released, I'll list the base card that's the most obtainable in my estimation.
It's worth noting that Clemens is one of the top prospects from the Braves system that was traded to the Astros in July 2011 in the Michael Bourn deal. Phelps has had a bunch of Tristar, Razor and Donruss/Playoff cards issued since 2008 but for this little exercise, I'm not counting those "pre-rookie" cards.
