First Game: The Phillies got their first look at the expansion Florida Marlins on May 17, 1993 at Joe Robbie Stadium. The Phillies defeated the teal wonders by a score of 10-3 behind the offense of John Kruk, who went 5 for 6 with three runs scored and two RBIs. The Phillies roughed up Marlins' starter Charlie Hough in the victory and Ben Rivera took the win for the Phils.
