First base coach Davey Lopes gets his own Chachi card this year, #28 in the set, because there wasn't enough room to fit the floating heads of all the team's coaches on Charlie Manuel's manager card. (This card is coming soon, as soon as I have a chance to finish up the back of the card.) Hitting coach Milt Thompson is the other coach getting his own solo card in this year's set.Lopes is also the team's baserunning coach, a job that must be a little boring this year given the complete dearth of Phillies' baserunners in most of the team's games.

Will Lopes ever be considered for a manager's job again? Probably not.
That's a good question. I don't know if he'd want to be considered, as I think he's found his niche as an infield/baserunning coach.
