Right-hander Andrew Carpenter was recalled from AAA Lehigh Valley following last night's extra-inning affair. (Miguel Cairo was DFA'd to make room on the roster). Andrew, wearing #48 per the scorecard, but actually #42 on the field, will make his first Major League start in the second game of tonight's double header with the Nationals. (Everyone from both teams is wearing #42 in honor of Jackie Robinson).Phillies debut: August 27, 2008

Gets the win in a rain shortened game and gets sent down...poor guy.
I have a feeling he'll be back . . . Chan Ho is long for the rotation.
