Opening night 2009 is almost here . . .The 2005 Phillies finished 2nd in the N.L. East with a record of 88-74. Pat Burrell, Bobby Abreu and Chase Utley led the Phils in most offsensive categories, while Jon Lieber, Brett Myers and Billy Wagner were the team's top pitchers. This was Charlie Manuel's first full year at the helm.
