On January 27, 1982, the Phillies traded Larry Bowa and an infield prospect to the Chicago Cubs for Ivan DeJesus. The infield prospect, Ryne Sandberg, had joined the Phillies in September 1981 when rosters expanded. He played in 13 games for the Phils, hitting .167, and playing 16 innings at shortstop.
From 1982 until his retirement in 1997, Ryne compiled a Hall of Fame career with the Cubs. I think I stopped being bitter about this trade at some point in the mid-90's. The picture for this card was taken from the Phillies' 1981 Yearbook.

Todays Quiz.
Who was Phillie GM?
Was it Bill Giles? I think Dallas Green was the Cubs GM by then, so he knew exactly what he was doing.
How about that Paul Owens
That's too bad.
Great card!
Never saw this one before. Awesome, even though Ryno is a Cub forever!
