1. The Phillies will need a new third baseman in 2013. Placido Polanco is most likely done, and the team has reservations about starting the season with Kevin Frandsen as the main guy at the hot corner.
2. The Phillies could use a right-handed bat with some pop in the fifth spot in their line-up.
3. Rumors are swirling that a certain team from the Bronx could be looking to move a certain former (tainted) All-Star, absorbing the bulk of his remaining salary due to him through 2017.
