Aaron Nola tested free agency for about two weeks last November, before re-signing with the Phillies for $172 million over seven years. He'll likely finish his career with the Phillies, spending the next six seasons climbing up the franchise's leaderboard in many of the major pitching categories. Nola just missed the 200-inning plateau in 2024, pitching 199 1/3 innings in 33 starts. He was 14-8 overall with a 3.57 ERA and 197 strikeouts, second on the club to Zack Wheeler. Nola threw a complete game shutout on May 14th, the fourth of his career. Unfortunately, he struggled in his lone postseason start, giving up a pair of Mets home runs in a 7-2, NLDS Game 3 loss.
