One Sentence Summary: In maybe the worst loss of the year, the Phillies lost ugly with lifeless at-bats and ineffective pitching in this 11-2 drubbing.
What It Means: Yuck.
What Happened: Both teams wore blue #42 on their jersey backs, as part of the annual Jackie Robinson Day celebration. The Phillies book-ended this game with solo home runs in the first from Trea Turner and the in the ninth from Bryce Harper, with nothing remotely exciting happening in the seven innings in-between. Jesus Luzardo continued his struggles, getting hit hard and earning his third loss with an ugly pitching line - 5 1/3 innings, 12 hits, 9 runs, 8 earned, a walk and a wild pitch. His ERA shout up to 7.94. Utility player Dylan Moore pitched in his second game of the season, allowing a run.

Field Report: Jenna and I sat through most of this game from our perch in Section 207 with our friends from ALS United Mid-Atlantic. The pre-game appetizers from Pass & Stow and the late game funnel cake were highlights.
Transaction: Zach Pop (rhp) landed on the injured list with a right calf strain and Kyle Backhus (lhp) rejoined the bullpen.
