The one-time closer for the Phillies, Seranthony Dominguez will be remembered for the immense promise he showed as a rookie in 2018 and for the gritty performances he gave the club during the 2022 regular and postseason.  Dominguez pitched in 38 games for the Phillies in 2024, going 3-2 with a 4.75 ERA over 36 innings pitched.  He had one save, the last of his 28 career saves with the team.  On July 26th, Dominguez and Cristian Pache were traded to the Orioles for outfielder Austin Hays.  Hays is already gone from the Phillies, but Dominguez seems to have re-established himself with the Orioles as an effective late inning reliever.  He had 10 saves with the club over the final months of the season and had two scoreless appearances against the Royals in the ALWCS.
