Kingery was in his first opening day line-up to start the 2020 season, as the team's new regular second baseman. In 2018, he appeared in 119 games at shortstop and last season in played 65 games in center field with 41 games at third base. The Phillies (and Kingery) are hoping that having a steady position only increases his offensive production.
Kingery missed the start of Summer Camp while he recovered from COVID-19.
