Record - 30-22, 3rd place, 1 game behind the Braves

One Sentence Summary:  Jake Arrieta shut down the Dodgers in his seven innings of work as the offense went 6 for 17 with runners in scoring position in this 6-1 win.

What It Means:  The Braves and Nationals both also won, so the Phillies remain in third place.

What Happened:  Arrieta struck out five and allowed six hits on the way to his fifth win of the season.  Nick Williams hit a solo home run (5) to start the scoring in the second.  Odubel Herrera added a two-run single that inning.  Jorge Alfaro and Carlos Santana both had RBI doubles.

Pedro Florimon had to leave the game in the first after fouling a ball off his foot.  After the game, it was announced that the valuable bench player had broken his foot and was DL-bound.
