Of importance to the 2026 bullpen, Chase Shugart and Lou Trivino both had clean innings of work. With the game tied 1-1, Bryan Rincon cleared the bases with a double in the top of the sixth, giving the Phillies a 5-1 lead. The Nationals would go on to score four unanswered runs against minor league call-ups Colin Peluse and Danyony Pulido.
