When David Robertson took the mound for the Phillies on August 11th, he joined Chuck Klein and Bill Hallman as only the third player to appear with the team in three different stints.  Robertson provided some veteran dependability to the bullpen, appearing in 20 games and going 2-0 with a 4.08 ERA and a pair of saves in 17 2/3 innings pitched.  Unfortunately, the last memory I'll have of him is causing trouble in the seventh inning of NLDS Game 1, departing with a pair of runners on, who would both score on a Kiké Hernandez three-run home run.  That would be Robertson's last big league appearance in a career that spanned 17 seasons, as he announced his retirement from baseball the day I composed this post.
