Max Lazar began the season with the IronPigs and was promoted on May 19th to take the roster spot of Mick Abel after Abel had made a successful spot start.  Lazar stuck around with the club until mid-August, when he was briefly sent back down to Triple-A.  In 36 relief appearances overall with the Phillies, he was 1-1 with a 4.79 ERA in 41 1/3 innings pitched.  With Lehigh Valley, Lazar was 3-2 with a 3.38 ERA in 18 games and 21 1/3 innings pitched.
