Pitching prospect Seth Johnson came over to the Phillies in July as part of the return from the Orioles for beleaguered reliever Gregory Soto. He pitched well in his seven minor league starts, earning a call-up to the Phillies on September 8th to make his big league debut against the Marlins. It did go well. Johnson was in trouble from the outset, and he'd depart the game in the middle of the third inning. His final line for the day - nine runs on eight hits, including a home run, three walks and a 34.71 ERA. He'll hopefully get a chance to bring that ERA down a bit with the Phillies in 2025.
