Similar to Connor Brogdon, Nick Nelson was a key part of the 2022 Phillies bullpen, but then all but completely dropped out of the team's plans in 2023 and 2024. Nelson was recalled to start the final game of the 2023 season and pitched 5 1/3 innings for a win.
