What Happened: The game should have been more of a blowout, if not for three Phillies errors and a shaky ninth inning in which the Angels scored twice off Andrew Bellatti. Michael Lorenzen earned the win, allowing four runs (three earned) over six innings, while striking out five. Trea Turner stayed hot, hitting a two-run triple in the sixth and a solo home run in the eighth. Bryce Harper, Kyle Schwarber, Alec Bohm and Bryson Stott joined Turner in the home run parade.
Shohei Ohtani was 3 for 5 with a pair of RBIs for the Angels, while Logan O'Hoppe and Mickey Moniak were a combined 0 for 6.
