Erich Uelmen pitched in 25 games last season for the Cubs, all in relief, going 2-1 with a 4.67 and a save in the process. He started the season with the IronPigs and was recalled on May 16th when Bailey Falter lost his spot in the starting pitching rotation. Uelmen appeared in one game with the Phillies, pitching one inning on May 19th against his former team, the Cubs. It did not go well.
