In the bottom of the eighth, with Mets' reliever Josh Walker on the mound, Bryce Harper walked to lead off the inning. J.T. Realmuto singled and Bryson Stott walked to load the bases. Jeff Brigham replaced Walker. Alec Bohm safely reached on an error by third baseman Bret Baty, with Harper scoring. Bases still loaded, Brandon Marsh walked, and Kyle Schwarber was hit by a pitch to tie the game. Brigham then hit Turner and the Phillies had the lead. Four runs, one hit, one error, three walks, two hit batters, one nightmare inning for the Mets.
Featured Card: Turner is seemingly turning his season around, and he was 2 for 3 with two runs scored, two stolen bases and three RBIs in this game. This is his recently released Bowman card, which arrived in our mailbox Monday afternoon.
