A starting pitcher throughout his minor league career, he was first used as a reliever in 2021 by the Phillies appearing in 22 games throughout the season. He'd make 16 starts with the 2022 Phillies, and appear in 20 games overall, going 6-4 with a 3.86 ERA. His sole postseason appearance came in Game 4 of the NLCS, and he didn't make it out of the first inning. Falter has started the 2023 season with an 0-7 record, and he was optioned to Lehigh Valley on May 16th in order to hopefully turn things around.
