Grapefruit Game 30 - 2015 Topps Heritage #177 Drew Hutchison

Phillies 4, Tigers 1
Spring Training Game 30 - Saturday Afternoon, March 24th in Lakeland
Record - 12-16-2

One Sentence Summary:  Drew Hutchison helped his chances to make the team with four shutout innings as the Phillies defeated the Tigers, 4-1.

What It Means:  We're only 5 days away from meaningful baseball.

What Happened:  Hutchison struck out three and allowed just one hit during his outing.  Roman Quinn and Jesmuel Valentin both had a paid of hits, as did Scott Kingery who started the game at second base.

2018 Chachi Almost #5
Featured Card:  We found out on Sunday morning that Hutchison had made the team either as a fifth starter or a long reliever.  He appeared on a decent amount of Topps cards with the Blue Jays between 2013 and 2016.

Camp Head Count:  36 - 1 = 35.  The Phillies stuck to their pattern of one roster move per day as veteran reliever Francisco Rodriguez was released prior to this game.  Rodriguez had posted a 5.40 ERA over 6 2/3 innings this spring.
