Cowgill Sneaks by The Phillies Room Copy Editors

I had seen the news a few weeks ago that the Phillies had signed outfielder Collin Cowgill to a minor league contract, but the news didn't indicate that he'd also be a non-roster invitee to spring training.  I noticed today that the Phillies Transaction and Non-Roster Invitee pages on their website had been updated to include Cowgill.  The Phillies Room regrets this initial omission from the list below and our copy editors have been appropriately chastised.

Cowgill has played in parts of six seasons for the Diamondbacks, A's, Mets, Angels and Indians.  He was in the Padres organization last season until being released in August.  His last major baseball card appearances come from 2015 when he was with the Angels.
