1982 Topps Appreciation:  And that's it for these 2017 series preview posts!  I'll have one last overall 1982 Topps-related post coming soon to tally all the Phillies and ex-Phillies appearing in the 1982 Topps set.  To cap my look back at this set, I wanted to feature my favorite card from the set (technically from the Traded set) - the Bob Dernier stand-alone rookie card.  I was beyond excited to originally add this card to my collection, in spite of the blurry, washed out picture of Bobby D.

Presented here is the original Dernier card from the 1982 Topps Traded set, an inferior re-do from the 2005 Topps All-Time Fan Favorites set (wrong colors, wrong font and he never played third base) and a card from the 2005 Topps Retired Signature set that gives us a slightly better look at the original photo.
