Last night's rain/thunderstorm/snow combination in Denver forced the postponement of the Phillies/Rockies game and necessitated a split day-night double header today. The Game 1 forecast for this afternoon calls for freezing rain in Denver, with a high of about 41 degrees.While I'm sure the players aren't thrilled, Marlon Byrd and I are very excited for two baseball games today!
(Actually, I can't say with certainty if Marlon is actually thrilled or not, as his Cubs are playing a matinee this afternoon in Chicago where temperatures are currently in the 40's.)
