2008 Allen & Ginter United States #US11 Shane Victorino

Great finish to a great game tonight! Shane Victorino's RBI single in the bottom of the 9th scored Pedro Feliz to give the Phils a 3-2 win over the Reds. The Flyin' Hawaiian, currently neck and neck with Pablo Sandoval in the NL All-Star Final Vote, went 2 for 4 on the night with a run and the big game-winning RBI. Ryan Madson pitched two scorelss innings for the win and Greg Dobbs added two more hits to raise his season average to .284.

Tonight's starter, Rodrigo Lopez, left after five innings with shoulder inflammation. It was only Rodrigo's second start with the team. Perhaps the Phils could pick up a pitcher to fill his spot if needed? I hear Roy Halladay is available . . .

I am a little apprehensive on who Phils would have to give up...I realize his value...he is, however 32...wait and see

Reports are coming in that the Phils have signed Pedro Martinez to a $4 million contract, but Ruben hasn't commented yet . . . Stay tuned. I'd rather have Doc Halladay!
