The strange thing about this card is the Dodgers' fans in the background. This was definitely a night game, and Matt Stairs' home run happened in the 8th inning, long after the sun had set for the day. But the fans in the background (some even wearing sunglasses) appear to be basking in sunlight. Why would Topps replace the original L.A. night fans with L.A. daytime fans? Were the original background fans not appealing enough? Very strange.

We think maybe the people in the first few rows had already left the game? Or maybe there was a celebrity seated there and they didn't want him/her on the card?
