2009 Chachi #10 Chris Coste

Moving onto the bench of the Phillies' opening day roster . . . back-up catcher, #27 Chris Coste. I honestly look for Chris to retire at some point and eventually join the Phillies as a bench coach. Perhaps Charlie's replacement, whenever Charlie decides to hang them up?

Phillies debut: May 26, 2006
How acquired: Signed by the Phillies as a minor league free agent, formerly with the Milwaukee Brewers' organization, October 29, 2004.
2008 Postseason: Started at DH for the Phillies in World Series Game 1

Pictured: May 30, 2008 - Chris hit a 3-run home run off the Marlins' Mark Hendrickson.
