The Phillies came from behind to win this game, scoring twice in the seventh inning to tie it up and four more times in the eighth inning to take the lead for good. Josh Breaux doubled home Oscar Mercado to start the scoring in the seventh, and Alec Bohm then singled Breaux home. Edmundo Sosa hit a two-run home run in the eighth, and Breaux came through again with a two-run single a few batters later.

In Dunedin, Joe Ross started the game with two scoreless innings, but then Jose Ruiz surrendered four runs in the third. Nick Vespi was also hit hard, giving up three more runs in the fifth. Kyle Schwarber, Payton Henry and Erick Brito all homered for the Phillies.
