2009 Upper Deck #300 Jamie Moyer

All it took was a few wins against the Mets and all seems right with the world again, doesn't it? While chasing Doug, playing catch and enjoying hamburgers this afternoon, we listened to the game outside on the radio. (No Fox announcers or live look-ins to Manny Ramirez at-bats for us, thank you very much).

Jamie Moyer, making his 600th career start, pitched into the 7th, allowing only 1 run on 5 hits to win his 7th game of the year. The victory also moved Jamie into the all-time top 10 list for wins by a left-handed pitcher. (Warren Spahn tops the list with 363, followed by Steve Carlton's 329. Jamie's now at 253).

Jimmy Rollins drove in 2 runs and Shane Victorino went 3 for 5 with a run scored and an RBI. Pedro Feliz added 3 hits to the winning effort. A 1-2-3 9th inning sealed the victory and Brad Lidge's 15th save. The game's easy, Harry.
