2009 Topps Heritage New Age Performers #NAP5 Chase Utley

We were at the game tonight, and neither of us could remember ever seeing an inside-the-park home run in person before. Chase Utley frantically circled the bases in the 3rd inning for an inside-the-parker (his 20th home run of the year), much to the delight of the 45,000+ fans in attendance. The Phillies would come from behind to beat the Reds, 9-6, taking three out of four in the series.

Jayson Werth homered in his fourth straight game for his 20th of the year and Jimmy Rollins added two hits in the winning effort. Jamie Moyer struggled again, but Chan Ho Park pitched three scoreless innings in relief, stifling the Reds' offense.

The Pirates come in for three starting tomorrow and then it's the All-Star Break. Have I mentioned I love the All-Star Game?

And One More Thing: Congratulations to Shane Victorino, winner of the All-Star Game Final Vote!

I think I saw one inside the park HR before...Dykstra in 1990? against the Mets, it was great. The hitters are heating up! What has gotten into Werth? He has one crazy good hit every game this week.
