Happy birthday Phanatic! Each year (usually a Sunday in April or May) the Phillie Phanatic celebrates his birthday with a pregame extravaganza. The ceremony usually includes live animals, other mascots, hijinks, and general silliness. Apparently, the theme this year was "magic" and an on-field magic show took place.Unfortunately, there's not a whole lot of magic so far in the game, as the Padres lead 3-0 in the 3rd inning.
