And the game remained in a 1-1 tie until the top of the 11th. With pinch-runner Edmundo Sosa as the ghost runner to start the inning, Brandon Marsh flied out and Garrett Stubbs was hit in the elbow. Kyle Schwarber grounded a single to right to score Sosa, and Trea Turner added an insurance run with a single scoring Stubbs.

The Phillies bullpen backed up Sanchez's great outing with five shutout innings from Yunior Marte, Jose Alvarado, Craig Kimbrel and Matt Strahm, who picked up the win.
