1985 Topps Appreciation:  This is one of those random series this year where I don't have a logical pairing of Phillies-related cards from the 1985 Topps set.  So instead, and because I don't have anywhere else to fit this in this year, here's Don Carman's rookie card from the 1985 Topps Traded set.

This does give me the opportunity to point you in the direction of the awesome Wax Pack blog, which is tracking one collector's journey to find and have signed each of the 15 baseball cards pulled from a random pack of 1986 Topps.  Carman's card was in the pack and the blog's author documents his visit with Carman on Day 21 and Day 22.
