Spring Training Game 18 - Wednesday Afternoon, March 15th in Tampa

One Sentence Summary: The Phillies outslugged the Yankees in Tampa, hanging on to win by a score of 9-8.
What It Means: With interest in World Baseball Classic games ramping up, it's easy to forget there are still regular old spring training games going on.
What Happened: Brandon Marsh hit a bases-clearing double in the first inning to give the Phillies an early 7-0 lead. It was an ugly inning, with Nick Castellanos and Josh Harrison contributing RBI singles before Marsh's hit, but with runs also scoring on a wild pitch and a bases loaded walk. Aaron Nola went 3 2/3 innings, allowing a run on two hits while striking out seven.
Featured Card: After opening our box of 2023 Topps Series One last month, I decided to try to collect a Brandon Marsh rainbow of available parallel cards from the set. For the uninitiated, a rainbow consists of the multiple parallels available of any given player's card, with those parallel versions featuring the same photo and typically the same back, but a different border color.

I started this quest innocently enough, getting as far as some of the less expensive versions of the Marsh card, including this Orange Foil version numbered to 299. But then my quest stalled out when I realized I'd need to pay in excess of $20 or more for some of the lower numbered parallel versions of the card. I'm going to have a tough time paying a ton of money for a card that, as of this writing, is about a month old. I'll try to add a few more versions of the card, but my rainbow hunt may have ended just as quickly as it started.
