Game 83 - 2019 Topps #446 Philly Special

Phillies 15
Cubs 10
Game 83 - Tuesday Night, July 6th in Chicago
Record - 41-42, 2nd Place, 4 games behind the Mets

One Sentence Summary:  The Phillies greeted former teammate Jake Arrieta with extreme rudeness, chasing the Cubs starter in the second inning and going on to a 15-10 win.

What It Means:  Per this Todd Zolecki Tweet, this is the first time the Phillies have scored 13+ runs in consecutive games since April 26-27, 2009.

What Happened:  Aaron Nola was the beneficiary of the offensive outburst, and he went six innings, allowing four runs on six hits while striking out eight.  Andrew McCutchen hit a first inning grand slam off Arrieta, and both Rhys Hoskins and Bryce Harper would homer later in the game.  Harper went 5 for 6 with four RBIs, with Hoskins going 3 for 5 with four RBIs of his own.  Jean Segura enjoyed a four-hit night to raise his season average to .330.

Featured Card:  This game is a good excuse to feature this card, especially with both Harper and Hoskins heating up at the same time.
