The Phillies bullpen was generally awful in 2019, but one of the surprising highlights was the emergence of Ranger Suarez as an effective left-handed reliever. In 37 games that season, Suarez was 6-1 with a 3.14 ERA over 48 2/3 innings pitched. Suarez missed a significant chunk of time on the Covid injured list in 2020 and he was finally activated last August 31st. He was recalled on May 6th this season and he's again proven to be an effective reliever.
