What Happened:  Cesar Hernandez and J.T. Realmuto each drove in three runs, while Realmuto and Scott Kingery each had three hits.  Hernandez (8), Realmuto (15) and Roman Quinn (2) all homered.  Jake Arrieta couldn't make it out of the fifth inning, allowing two runs (one earned) on four hits.  Ranger Suarez pitched two scoreless innings in relief.

Transactions:  Following the game, Nick Williams was optioned to Lehigh Valley and Jason Vargas was activated.  The Phillies also released Dylan Cozens who appeared in one game this season for the Phillies, going 0 for 1 as a pinch-hitter.  Once one of the team's top prospects, Cozens struggled in his short time in the Majors last season, hitting .158 (6 for 38) with 24 strikeouts.
