What Happened: Jean Segura tied the game at 3-3 in the fifth with a solo home run (7). The tie was broken in the sixth when Anthony Rendon hit a solo home run off Pivetta, and then Edubray Ramos allowed a three-run home run to Victor Robles after Pivetta had departed. Jay Bruce had a three-hit night, including his 20th home run of the year in the seventh.
Featured Card: In his second trip back to D.C., Bryce Harper went 1 for 9 with an RBI, four walks and three strikeouts.
Transactions: After returning from the Injured List the night before, Pat Neshek found himself back on the list with a left hamstring strain suffered in Wednesday night's loss. Ranger Suarez, who had been the 26th man for the double header, remained on the roster.
