1985 Topps Appreciation:  I was shocked and a little saddened by the December 10, 1985 trade that sent popular catcher Ozzie Virgil (and pitcher Pete Smith) to the Braves for Steve Bedrosian and Milt Thompson.  I wrote more about the deal in my 1988 Topps Appreciation post from last season.

Thompson had to wait until the 1986 Topps set came out for his rookie card.
