I already posted a semi-tribute to Placido Polanco back in early November. But with his signing with the Miami Marlins now official, I wanted to present his Chachi Transactions card. Polanco will join Juan Pierre as the veteran presence on an otherwise completely gutted (and young) Marlins ballclub.
If recent trends hold, Polanco will crush Phillies pitching this coming season and be personally responsible for at least one dramatic, walk-off Marlins win. There should be about 300 people in the stands in Miami to witness his heroics.
